It finally happened : hard disk broke. Everything lost.
Having followed backup suggestion I have DB AND SETTINGS in several copies both locally and on the cloud.
For DB recovery no problem : took the last xxx_backup.sqlite, renamed, and here all my precious QSOs back again!
Quite different the settings recovery : the config.json taken from various backups and substituted to the original
in the C:\Users\I0MOM\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user was never used by log4om which always start with the old copy that I modify with the configuration settings of log4om.
Quite annoying since the parameters are many and memory (with the years) start to fails ...

Re: Recovery configuration failed
Hi Nolan,
Thank for the suggestion.
I read the paragraph You suggested. It relate to cloning log4om installation.
If we have to treat Recovery as a limit case of cloning, the the suggested recovery procedure : saving database and config.json seems not be sufficient and You have to save and substitute the entire content of the directory:
C:\Users\I0MOM\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user.
Good to know for next crash !
