SQL - Do I need it ?

As a newbie just experimenting with LOG4OM, not particularly au fait with some of the computer 'speak', I wonder what I might be missing by not using SQL . I just have SQLite enabled, and from my experience to date with 227,000 contacts in my log it seems to do all I need.
Any comments ?

Steve,
We usually re comment MySQL for large logs and rate Sqlite as OK for up to 150k QSO's, however if it's working OK I would stick with it - If it ain't broke don't fix it!
MySQL is very usefull where multiple stations need to log to the same database at the same time, like in a contest or DXPediition situation. Apart for that there are not many other advantages for the normal Amateur.

Hi Terry,
Yes, agree with your sentiments - "if it ain't broke....."
I guess with SQL the database load / search may be faster ?, sure there's a few seconds, when for example this morning I needed to delete a couple of QSOs but I don't have an issue with that.
