Hello.
Is there any way to get Log4om to run Spectravue software for rig control at the same timel? I am using a ft5k and Log4om. New to the Log4 software.
When I open Log4 and Spectravue, I get a message saying "out of band". is there a setting I Can use to use both softwares at the same time? I use Spectravue to point and clink my ft5k. Also using "virual ports Emulator".....

Hi Don,
if there is a "Out of Band" warning it looks that L4O is connected but the shown frequency is not allowed in the setted region. First you have to set the region in L4O settings to your region. Normaly if L4O got no control to the rig another box will tell you that the comport is used by another process.
And b.t.w. you can use both softwares if the comport of the rig is shared/splittet to another one. It´s the same like Terry described in another thread for using L4O togehter with Flrig .... See the linked thread
Flrig Thread:

Don,
Log4om conforms to the ham bands so unless you are going outside of the ham bands with Spectravue you should not get warnings.
I use SDR-Radio consul with my RFSpace IP and my IC756 ProIII all sharing a VSP splitter and providing I am within the region 1 ham bands I don't get out of band warnings, however if I tune to the broadcast bands I expect to be warned that I am outside of the allocated region1 ham radio bands

Thanks for the info fellas,
I checked the band plan, and I am in region 2. That's where its set. . But when I open spectravue along with LO4,I get the error. Did notice the spectravue software is working fb but get the "band plan error" on LO4.

OK,
What frequency is the FT5000 tuned to when you open Log4om with Spectravue connected that causes the out of band message.
Please explain in detail how you have the FT5000, Spectravue and Log4om connected to synchronise the frequency and mode across both programs and the FT5000

Hello Terry,
I have the Ft5000, spectravue and LO4 synced. Using Rig to for the setup between Lo4 and spectrvue and rf space. Will double check again to see if all is set right.
Thanks for the help

1. How are "Ft5000, spectravue and LO4 synced"?
2. What is "Rig to"?

hi Terry,
spectravue is syncd thru rf space sdr. Works great. can use the panadapter for point and click to change freqs.
The ft5000 is connected to the same pc that Spectravue is on. Also have a K3 connected to LO4, but I don't use spectravue with it. K3 has its own P3(panadaper)
