Re: Log4OM 2.26.0 won't install - Windows 11
I have re-downloaded multiple times (4 or 5 now), and have stopped all firewalls and anti-viruses (Norton on both). No change in how it acts. Weirdly, 2.25.0 installed fine.

Log4OM 2.26.0 won't install - Windows 11
I am running 2.25.0 and after downloading 2.26.0 I have tried multiple times to install it but nothing happens. The "hourglass" shows for about 3 seconds then no further action. I have re-downloaded twice - no change. I have turned off my Norton Internet Security - no change. I have run th...

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
Sorry for the delay - I've had to do some antenna replacement work after the big ice storm here (no big antennas, but roof work, finding parts, etc.) Thanks, Nolan, but I have never installed the portable version, only the standard one. I suspect VE3WEJ's solution may be the one that would work for ...

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
Hi Nolan, Yes, it has all the standard folders similar to Win10 with the exception that it insisted on loading all on OneDrive. That shouldn't matter because there is still the duplicate folder on the system, and I have changed mine to default to the system drive with backup to the OneDrive. Still I...

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
Hi Terry,
I receive the window below - which only allows me to create folders under the "Desktop" (i.e., on the Desktop). I get the same result below if I turn off the main backup function and enable "additional backups."

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
This problem has not gone away and now I have zipped backups scattered in the icons on my desktop. Below is a screenshot of what I'm presented when I attempt to navigate to a suitable backup folder. The only choice I'm given is something under "Desktop" which is not a good choice. Regardle...

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
Yes, many restarts, no help. 2.25.0.0 Can't install 2.26 for some reason. Won't run the install file even with all antivirus software turned off. Windows 11, of course....

Re: Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
Thanks, Terry, but no, I'm sending the backup to a Seagate 8 TB USB backup drive where I put all my backups. On my system, when I open the dialog box for where to place it, I am only presented with the "Desktop" folder - so I'm stuck putting it there or adding a folder "under" th...

Win11 Backup Folder selection seems broken
I'm moving to a Windows 11 computer, and setting up Log4OM has gone mostly OK. One problem I'm seeing is that when I try to select a backup folder for the log, the window presented shows the Desktop folder only and does not navigate anywhere from there. On the Win 10 machine it works as expected, al...

Re: LOTW Upload failing
Duane, ... info deleted ... Doing the test with TQSL first confirms that element is working or not. If it is working then double-down on the entries in Log4OM for LOTW / TQSL. Thanks, Nolan - excellent suggestion. I had confirmed that the TQSL was working properly on the new PC and thought that whe...
