Rotator doesn't works

Post by F6FLU »

Hello,
I am newbie and I am testing the Log4om program
All are OK except the rotator
I use a Yaesu G-650C AND the Easy-rotor control interface
http://easy-rotor-control.com/

This interface is connected to my PC via a COM port (Com #9 for me) and I think I have to configure the PstRotatorAz (V 11.67) with this port Com ?

Now I configured PstRotatorAZ with :
Tracker = Log4OM
Setup / Tracker SetUp / Log4OM setup with Azimut and port = 120410 and the tracking mode is set

If I type for example 60 in the AZ Field and click "GO" the rotator doesn't move :-)

Or if i set a call in Log4OM program and click on the rotator icon thats doesn't works too...

With the Log4OM Communicator program :
Settings /Outbound / PSTRotator I have the same port 12040, the PST Rotator Connection (UDP) is set and the Sens Azimut is set and the Communicator is started (auto start)

I think I have to configure PstRotatorAZ with the "Communication" menu options but I don't know why exactly ?

Now I have RS232 / TCP Server is set
and I had set the Azimut Com Port to COM9

But that doesn't works

I precise that I use also Logger32 program and the Rotator works fine with Logger32, so I think that is only a configuration problem

Can You help me about this rotator problem

Thanks
