Re: lIC735 - WSJT-x JTAlert and Log4OM
Hi Jacques,
i have the same problem with my old IC-735
I think the problem is that my digital modem only has a virtual COM that not can be splitted by COMport splitters and/or Omnirig. So
i set the band in WSJT-X on the manual way.
Have also JT-Alert by VK3AMA working and it logs fine to Log4OM. In the JT-Alert settings i have checked the logging to Log4OM and not changed any other thing like ports or so, all is standard.
Old rigs have not the funcionallity of the modern ones

Re: lIC735 - WSJT-x JTAlert and Log4OM
Hi Juergen
Thank for your response and yes JT alert logs no problem and I also have opted for the manual setting of WSJT-X
I should seriously think of retiring my 735 but it works great and has been with me for over the last 30 years twice round the world and worked from many of my DX call V85CJ TR8CJ etc etc . Its kind of my wife but do not tell the YL.....
I am waiting to see what the new IC 7300 is like once out and a few months of use to see how it behaves prior to retiring the 735..
Vielen Danke Juergen 73 Jacques
