Problems updating 1.24.0

I have tried 3 times to install 1.24.0 but not working.

I get pop up that states the following: Windows can not open the folder.
The compressed (zipped) folder c:\users\Anderson\downloads\Log4om_0 (14).zip is invalid.

Do not understand why I have problems with these updates, not the first time.

Do a re-download Andy. Reinstalling with a corrupt file will get you no where.

Good morning Chuck, Tnx for your reply. I am confused though. Do you want me to uninstall version 1.23.0 and do a fresh download
of 1.24.0. Seems kind of radical.

No, just re-download and install over the existing version. It should be OK. Probably you received a bad download originally.

Hello Chuck, sorry just getting back to you. The problem seems to be unzipping the download. Is there any other way to do that other than WinZip??? Driving me crazy.

Hi Andy,
In the website download page, below the main download icons, some rows below, there are some TEXT links.
Those links (alternative links) are direct to the files stored into the website storage, and doesn't use the download manager from wordpress Platform.
Using those direct links usually fixes those download issues...
