IN attempting to figure out a problem that occurred when I upgraded SmartSDR I hit the Reset Config button in the Settings panel. What a mistake as it wiped out all my settings data - the log, identity, CAT & Cluster, external software starts in settings 2, MySQL setup....EVERYTHING is gone. Needless to say I'm in a panic and can't find a solution in the manual. Help would be VERY appreciated!

PS I know my log is lurking somewhere so that's less of a problem.

Re: Lost all Settings Data, log etc
Assuming you had backups being made its easy to recover your configuration as follows
When a backup is saved there is also a backup made of your Log4OM configuration, its file name starts with the date and time as in the example below
20150921062038_config.xml
This is located in the C:\.........\AppData\roaming\LogOM\backup folder or wherever you had set your backups to be saved to?
Find the latest one of these backup files and edit out the date so that you end up with a file as below
config.xml
Now copy that file to your C:\Users\YOU USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\LogOM folder and let it overwrite the existing file
Open Log4OM and all of your settings should have been restored
If your logbook has not automatically been selected just go to File/open database - navigate to the location of your SQLite database and select it

TNX so very very much Terry!! I tried that but missed a step and this time it worked like a charm! All seems fine. Now if I can just figure out why it stopped talking to my Flex 6300 I'll be a happy camper as we say. It was working fine and then wasn't.

Re: Lost all Settings Data, log etc
One last problem that I'm not solving without help.
I can no longer control my rotor using PstRotatorAz by simply selecting a DX call sign in the spotting window. The configuration seems ok:
C:\Program Files (x86)\PstRotatorAz\PstRotatorAz.exe
And the application opens fine when I start Log4OM. Is there some other file that needs to be found in the Backup folder and moved into the active Log4OM folder? I've checked in the PstRotator application and setup looks as it should, so I'm puzzelled. Once again, that function was fine until I made the mistake and hit the reset config button in the setup window of Log4OM. Any thoughts?

There is also a backup of your communicator config in the same back up folder like
20150921062038_CommunicatorConfig.xml
Just do the same renaming exercise to remove the date and then copy and past as before to overwrite the one in the main config folder

In Log4OM 1.24 all files are contained in a single ZIP, for your convenience without need to be renamed
