You can add fields and change the positioning by using the 'Layout' button at the bottom of the window

But then how do you get Log4OM to import the missing information?G4POP wrote:2e0sia wrote:guys what a great programme followed the instructions all ok but when i veiw my log book and open the programme full screen

I have a field set up in my other logger named "other4" it contains all the NPOTA ref#'s. I don't see any way of importing this information.
I agree Loger4OM is off to a great start and has tremendous potential, but lacks some very basic options.
Delete Multiple QSO's from the database window?
Then again it could just be me not knowing how or where to find it in the manual and being thick as a plank.
I also agree with "help please"

I believe in it enough to donate and support updating. So please don't take offense.

Here is an email I sent to you five minutes agoK4INC wrote:But then how do you get Log4OM to import the missing information? Unfortunately there is not an NPOTA field in the ADIF specification this is why N3FPJ has had to use a program specific field (Other 4) to record that information.
Changing a field title in Log4OM does not change the function of the field e.g. if you change Satellite mode to NPOTA the field will still import the satellite name not NPOTA references, it's just a field title that changes. So for instance I have changed 'SOTA Ref' To 'SOTA' to save some screen space
Even had you been able to change the import routine you would not have been able to display the results in the award screen, because there is a specific method of adding an NPOTA reference in Log4OM, see below.
As there are only 26 NPOTA records in the ADIF file that you sent it's not a huge task to enter the data by hand, if you want to send me an ADIF or the SQLite database of your complete log I will gladly do that for you?
We don't include a bulk delete in the main window to avoid accidental deletion, it is in the QSO manager and you need to enable 'Enable removal' before selecting the QSO's to be deleted and pressing the delet key on your computer keyboard - Again we added these safeguards to avoid accidentsI agree Loger4OM is off to a great start and has tremendous potential, but lacks some very basic options.

If you see any other 'Very basic options' that are missing please let us know

Re: help please
Thanks Terry,
I found that after I posted the question. Sorry for the confusion. I'm working my way through the manual and some of the terminology fools me. My bad, not the manual.

Re: help please
I believe I sent you the comments from some of my club members. So far it has been nothing but glowing reports.
Like myself, we are in a learning curve from our individual existing logging programs. BUT Log4OM has proven well worth the experience.
