I'm registered with QRZCQ and QRZ at the time. My subscription for QRZ is about to run out and it is the External source I use at this time with LOG4OM for acquiring call sign information. QRZ works just fine, but thought I would try using QRZCQ for my External source for call sign information but, I am unable to get the program to work with QRZCQ. I am using LOG4OM 1.25

Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
I just tested Log4OM version 1.25 with QRZCQ and it all functions perfectly so I suspect that perhaps you have a typo either with the user name or the password

Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
I have entered and re-entered my user name and password several times making sure of no typo and will not work for me. I have no trouble with QRZ. I will keep trying something or maybe uninstalling and re installing the program. I sure like the program and hope I can get it to work with QRZCQ. Thanks Terry

Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
Do not waste your time uninstalling the program that is not the problem, it has to be something simple like using the wrong case in the user name or password or perhaps an O instead of a Zero
Also ensure that you do not have any special characters like % & # * - (Hyphens or underscores) in your user name and password because the auto uploads do not like them

Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
I have check all those areas and I'm just unable to figure it out. Like you, I believe it is something very simple and I will keep trying. On QRZCQ web page and where we put in our call and password (I type this "w5aca" and it will automatically show up as upper case "W5ACA") and when I put in my password I'm logged in.
But I try the same with Lo4om and for some reason it will not work. I have used lower and upper case on my call. I have check everything I know to check. I have started from scratch, saving, make active, running as administrator, New configuration. I might have the program so confused it don't know what to do. I will not give up.

Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
Just not able to get it to except QRZCQ
Re: Trouble connecting with QRZCQ
I have figured it out....just letting everyone know it was my OWN fault for not reading more clearly of QRZCQ. My misunderstanding of free lookup when I read HamQTH and QRZCQ free no fee lookup. However, I need to have a paid XML with QRZCQ in order to use QRZCQ remotely through Lo4om and I do not have a paid xml with them I only have the Standard account and I need the premium to be able to use. That is the problem I was having. I apologize Terry for the inconvenience I caused.
