Portable VS Original

The portable program is larger in size than the original? What are the differences and benefits of using the portable program. Want to use it on a windows based tablet (ASUS T00HA) 4K ram, 64 Gig without internet for portable and marine mobile. Which program should I use. Tnx. 73, Lee, VE4DXR

Use the standard version unless you need to run it from a memory stick to use in many different computers

Yes, size is pretty the same.
Portable has the only advantage to run into a single folder, while the installed one works also on \users\ folder.
The drawback of the portable is that the program upgrade should be made "manually" overwriting the folder and paying attention to not overwrite user files.
