New User, Log File Question

Post by kg5pio »

Im new to all this and got Log4OM working and integrated with FLdigi all seems well. I have not yet started QSOs just demoing and checking out what I can do. The question is in setting all this up the Log file that Log4om and FLdigi will use is in the FLdigi log folder before I get started for real is this how it should be? Or should the file reside in Log4OM? or does it matter?
I will also be using JT65HF should I be using the same file and location? So all three will be using the same file and location?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Log4om maintains its own logfile as indicated a the bottom right hand corner of the Log4OM window C:\..........\Your name.SQLite

Other software like FLdigi maintain their own separate log files and just send the QSO's to Log4OM so ultimately you will see the same QSO in FLDigi where you originally logged the QSO and also in Log4OM
