You need to convert the xml to an ADIF file

You can probably convert the xml file to a csv file in Microsoft Excel and then use an online csv to ADIF converter

What is the logger that crashed?

Didn't you have any backup files saved in ADIF?

Well Terry If I had I would not be here..

I just finished rebuilding and the computer programs etc but the adif backup went with main computer drive , and only had xml on external back up since i was Maria dBase etc etc .

I can allways download from LoTW but that will just give confirmed Qso

I will get back to the issue later on have other things to do now
Cheers

Yes there is a multiple backup system for your ADIF files and also the program user confirmation files in the Options which backs up to multiple locations including the cloud and thumb drives

I suggest that you store the main logbook database on the cloud also using either Dropbox or Google Drive

In the options you will find auto upload of QSO's as they are saved to LOTW, Clublog, QRZ Logbook, HamQTH, HamLog and HRDLog

We at Log4OM care for the security of your data and provide many ways of ensuring it is not lost.

Please share how you retrieved the data from your xml file into Lg4OM this may help other users in the future!

BTW try watching some of our YouTube tutorials - Google Log4OM YouTube
