Can no longer open the program when I click on my shortcut or in the programs menu I get the error message that: logOMUI.exe has been changed or moved so the shortcut no longer works. I did not change anything. Should I uninstall Log4OM and reinstall it?

Hi Rob,
first try the easiest way to "repair" your shortcut. Delete the old one go to the folder with the exe of Log4OM click with the right mousekey on it and make a new shortcut in this folder. This one you can copy to your desktop and normally it should work. If not make a backup of all your data and reinstall Log4OM.

When I right click I only get an option to uninstall. I see now that all of a sudden after years of running Log4OM that Norton is the problem. I see that Norton quarantined logomui.exe
The reason it states is : logomui.exe contained the threat Heur.AdvMl.B
Can I just restore this in Norton Security Suite? Is it safe?

I have the same issue with mine all of a sudden today! I also have Norton so I will get in touch with Norton tomorrow and have them restore my Log4OM and fix it so that it never happens again! Aldo I did take a chance and restored the quarentined file on my other PC and it seems to work now. Go into Norton>security>history>and look for the logom file in red letters and hit restore in blue letters (unless somebody on here thinks it is malware)?

Yes, Norton removed the file on the last scan.
