Call for help in Portuguese

I need a volunteer to help user Jose Manuel Vasconcelos CY3MD

He originally had a problem with Log4OM having lost his configuration, If I recall correctly due to a computer crash!

I have got Log4OM up and running properly but it took me an hour on Teamviewer to do what should have taken ten minutes because I don't speak, understand, read or write Portuguese so not easy! and his Windows OS is of course in that language.

Jose now informs me that he uses a MySQL database because he has in excess of 120,000 QSO's in his log and needs to retrieve his MySQL database and run Log4OM with it.

Due to my problem with the language it is impossible for me to assist in finding or setting up his MySQL database so I need a volunteer that is able to understand and work in Portuguese and also has a working knowledge of MySQL database operation.

Your help will be appreciated.

I am sorry but can not help José. I do not know MySQL, sorry. I have sent a message to him to remember manual pag. 191 to 208 about MySQL.

Tell the user to export a backup log in ADIF (Log4OM does that automatically but we should be sure that he has the backup on his hands)
Then ask him to switch to SQLite and import back.

Installing log4om is simple, installing MySQL requires a bit of effort (find, download, install, configure, set parameters in log4om configuration...). I wonder how he did that "without knowledge"
