My problem turned out to be with the firewall that Norton is installed as part of my antivirus and other malware protection. I went to the settings for that firewall and looked at all of the settings that pertained to Log4OM – just one of the several settings for the program had to be changed to "Allow". I have another problem now and have a question in at the Norton site. Every now and then that setting will change itself back to the original and the program will not log a contact and I have to go back and set the firewall back again to allow logging. I would suspect other antivirus programs might also take control of the firewall in your computer. There is usually a way to get to those settings that is rather easy to find and then is just a matter of looking up all the programs you are using and changing any settings related to them. I wish you luck because I know how frustrating this problem is!!!!
