Log4OM with N4PY Pegasus plus

Is anyone using Log4OM with Pegasus plus? I tried following the instruction in the Pegasus Manual but it isn't specific enough.
I have set up virtual com ports for this but that's as far as I can get. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you used a virtual com port emulator software, defined av port-pair, and configured N4PY software to trick Log4om Omnirig/hamlib to connect to N4PY software as a kenwood transceiver?

It works ok when correctly configured

I have the ports set up but that's as far as I got. Tried before and somehow lost all my QSOs from the database.
Guess I need to do more research.
