WFF - Worldwide Flora and Fauna

Post by AE4RM »

Is there a way to update the awards database for WWF? I do not have many of the parks in the list. I have done an update to no avail. I saw in the past you had to emails the XML flie to someone. Could you do that for me? ae4rm@arrl.net?

Thanks,
Roger

What version of Log4OM are you using and have you tried a new download of the award updates?

I have updated multiple times and the list of KFF entries does not seem to be complete. The list of parks goes up to KFF-4089 and my list on Log4OM only goes up to KFF-3302

Thanks,
Roger

The only contains 3302 American parks, the WWF file needs updating constantly because every country is continually adding new parks.

Suggest that you send the latest list from WWF to our awards manager Clause EI7JZ, so that he can update the file again.

I got the list from Jason Johnston who is the WFF-KFF manager. It's too large to attache here. I have e-mailed it to Clause yesterday.

Thanks,

He Roger,

I also sent you a PM. I think my EI7JZ hotmail account deleted your email with the updated WFF-list.

If it's much larger than 5 MB please use 7-ZIP or a similar program and provide a .ZIP file. Please send it to the email address claus@oe6cld.at.

the "right" way should be contact the WFF managers to have the full list updated.
They usually provide it in a good format, but the file needs a couple of changes in order to be loaded correctly

I did get the file from Jason Johnston, the KFF (US) manager in reply of my request for the file for Log4OM update.

Did you see the post from Clause where he said your original email got deleted and requested a further response?
