This is not a question specific to Log4OM, but I thought I would throw this out to the group since Log4OM is my first real electronic logging program. If you work a station that is portable, away from home, and possibly out of state, do you change the state and QTH fields after they auto-populate? If a station is portable and I need the portable location for an award, I would think that changing those fields would be appropriate.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Re: QTH Question
Yes if the other station is not at their main location most people would change the location details in the logbook!
Generally the only way to get that information is by asking the other station for his details, like grid reference, IOTA ref, SOTA ref, QTH, State etc etc
This applies to /P, /M, /MM, /A (In Europe /A is an ALTERNATIVE location) and in some parts of NA and SA /AM for Aeronautical Mobile
Of course if the other station is in another country and is using the correct prefix like G/KI4IN then Log4OM will automatically determine the correct country but the other location data will be auto filled from your on line look up source so may need amending.
