Import from other log

Hi to everyone in the group. I just imported my contacts from N1MM for the CQWW SSB contest last weekend.Everything imported ok,,,,,call,date,time except the country name is still blank in log4om. Just wondering how do I correct the problem.

Hi Andy,
Yes this is the problem with N1MM it does not provide us with a country name.

There are two methods

1. During import of the ADIF from N1MM make sure that you check the box in the import screen 'Update countries in ADIF' so you could if you wished delete the recently imported records and then re-import but this time with the box checked - OF COURSE AS ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING

2. You could highlight all of the calls without a country in the 'Archive Manager' and use the 'Update Info' button to update the information including the country from QRZ - Note this is a slow job because we have to check each one against the QRZ website so be patient

There is a third method but it can only be used if the records have a DXCC number for each entry - This is In the 'Field update' window of the 'Archive manager' its is a check box marked 'Verify country from DXCC'

Thanks for all your help,I tried updating with no luck so then just deleted and re-imported with the box checked this time.Worked beautifully.
