Can WSJT send QSO log without JT-Alert?

Post by sailor »

Howdy,

I was using the old version of Log4OM along with WSJT-X, and NOT using JT-Alert software. Now that I have the new version I am struggling to figure it out. It seems the guide and most of the posts here all seem to rely on JT-Alert being involved.

I don't want to use that extra software and complication if it's not needed. Does anyone know if there is a step by step somewhere for sending WSJT log to Log4OM?

Howdy ???,

Can you please provide your call sign? Need to know where-a-bouts you are located as that helps all of us better help you. One of the other moderators can easily change your login to your call sign as that has been the typical norm for us here at Log4OM.

Yes (as Terry has noted) you can run WSJTx or JTDX direct to Log4OM2 without use of JTAlert. Many options for y'all to choose from.

Check out Page 134 of the Users Guide for the direct connections.
