Small table edit bug

Post by KD0ZV »

When trying to edit the table on the worked before table accessed by arrow the edit box where you check/uncheck columns opens under the actual table and cant be accessed. I was able to get to it eventually by moving the table off to one side before starting to edit.

The worked before (F10) works fine.

This also applies to the worked awards table.

Click the arrow at the top left corner twice to change from 'Stay on top' to normal

Terry, the window with the keep on top is the one that is the problem. When you click filter statistics the filter window goes to the back and you have no access to it. With decent resolution I can move the window off to side or another monitor but those using a single monitor will be lost not knowing where the the new window went.

Note that I moved the window off to one side so you could see both. At first it was hidden.

No because it's set to stay on top, click the arrow twice

Rich,

The blue highlight around the up-arrow at the top left of your Worked Award window is notification that ... that specific window will stay on top.

Click the arrow to remove the blue highlight and the window won't persist in staying on top.

That was Terry's comment about double-clicking that top left arrow.

Bottom line ... with the blue highlight the window will persist to stay on top ... without the blue highlight the window becomes part of the stack of windows.

Thanks. I was not following but that does work.

Still seems odd if this is by design.

Single monitor guys not running super high resolution are going to lose the filter statistics.

And Terry your last comment made sense. Had not read it yet :)

Rich,

Makes sense to have some windows as persistent (my fancy word for 'stay on top'), but the option to toggle it off/on is also a great feature.

As you have noted about multiple windows stacking on top of one another ... most notable with a new installation of V2 and the main UI starts at a given location and every window after that stacks up in perfect alignment with the top left corner.

I'm back to one monitor display so don't have the large amount of real estate to play with.

I many time find myself rolling my mouse cursor of the V2 icon in the task bar to see how many windows I have opened and go from there.

Well the stuff I originally posted in this thread can not be brought to the top using the task bar. You have to close them via task bar and move window off to one side and then open.

But now that you and Terry have explained the arrow better it does not happen :)
