Wrong time during import?

Post by sv1jso »

Hello,

Recently import all my contacts from V1 to V2.
Couple of my qso's have different time advanced by one hour.
Attached a qso exported from log4omv1 that in v2 the time is different.

Keep up the good work
Regards

Please check Help/about and let me know what version number of Log4OM is?

Also how many QSO's were affected?

Log4om 1 is 1.40
Log4om 2 is 2.4.0

2 from 14000.

Also I tried to change the time manually in V2 and for some reason is not accepting the correct time!

We're those two Qso's created in Log4om v1 or imported into V1 from another program?

Probably yes. I use it at least 5-6 years. My previous logger was ham radio deluxe.

So what are you saying? It was an import?

Probably was not an import. Both are 2018 contacts. My best bet is log4om v1 whatever version was that time. I am updating logger regularly.

I think this is just a one off situation!

Probably the time format in the release of log4om or other software at that time had a problem causing the export to be corrupted, this in turn causing the import to misfire.

As it is only 2 Qso's in your database and there are no other users reporting the same problem I suggest you edit the Qso's and move on.

And here is come the good part.. The original time is 00:03 in first and 00:09 in second.
In the log4om v2 the time is 01:03 and 01:09 respectively. When I turn the time back to 00:xx and press save the time turns back to 01:xx !!! If I advance the time lets say to 02:xx the V2 has no problem. So I believe is something else from just import problem.

Also both contacts are confirmed in lotw and other services with the correct time. F.Y.I.

In my first post I attached an adif with one of the problematic contacts. Is it working ok in your setup?

Best Regards

No it is not because the date/time data is corrupted

But I also created a new QSO with exactly the same information and import it it is ok
