Hi
Everything was working fine yesterday and both my Yaesu FT450D and FT897 were connecting fine, however today although the green light is on for CAT the frequency read out keeps displaying offline.
I have checked the coms ports and all appear ok.
Also does anybody have the standard settings for connecting these rigs through Omni Rig or HamLib
Many thanks

What is your call-sign and QTH? This does help all OMs (including support team) around the world when it comes to replying to questions.
Your login needs to be your call-sign and I'll do that for you as soon as you advise same.

Paul,
Tnx much. I've changed your "login" to your call-sign. Password stays the same as you have originally selected.
Appreciate the participation.

I'd like to know too as I am having the exact same problem.

Re: Omni Rig Stopped Connecting
I find Omnirig a bit troublesome at times, although I assume it is Omnirig rather than Log4OM.
I am using Omnirig ver 1.19, Log4OM ver 2.6.1, radio 1 is a K3 connected via RS232. Radio 2 is an IC-9700 connected via USB (set as IC-9100 with appropriate CI-V address change in the 9700).
If both radios are powered when I run Log4OM it works fine, I can switch from rig 1 to 2 and vice versa, if I subsequently turn off the K3 the ability to read the 9700 disappears. The same issue occurs if I just want to use the 9700 on program startup.
Maybe I am nitpicking over the Omnirig issue, as having both radios powered solves the problem.
I haven’t tried Hamlib.

Re: Omni Rig Stopped Connecting
I would also like to try Hamlib.
The version in Log4OM does not have an entry for my Icom IC-7300 but the version in FLDigi has an 'IC-7300 stable' as per the Log4OM manual at the bottom of page 165.
I managed to fix my issue by having to have 2 separate CAT virtual com ports; one for FLDigi and one for Log4OM. I also had to stop running Omnirig as admin as I had to do under v1 of Log4OM.
