winkeyer

Post by nd1x »

Trued in vain to get WK to work. Newest version of LOG4OM. Running as admin. But can not run OmniRig in Admin, its locks up? I attached screen shots. Log4OM is using Com 4. I thought I could use WK with COM 3. No it does not work. Win. 10- Ugh - FTDX300 - paddle connected to rear of radio. Works like a champ. But would love to use WK. Any help is appreciated.

Tnx, John

You do realise that you must have Winkeyer hardware interface unit, it's not a direct radio connection?

Terry, I kind of thought so! But if I may, where in the LOG4OM manual for the Winkeyer say that? I k now I read that section a number of times. Maybe it should say, you need the WKUSB to make WK work? I might be dumb and old but I didn't see that anywhere.

Thank you for letting me know. I now will purchase a WKUSB unit.

Tnx, John

Download the latest user guide and you will find the notice I have added as per your suggestion, I hope it is prominent enough?
