My map works perfectly whenever I have a DX (outside USA) station in the callsign box.....but any local US callsign, it doesn't show correctly. It displays a station location about 200 miles north of me, and never changes, location EM19 in Kansas.........is there a way to reset the map, or is this a bug?

Re: Map only shows DX stations
My guess it that its because your not getting the locator from QRZ because your not a paid for XML subscriber, your a Ham Member
Without a correct 6 digit locator from the lookup the grid square defaults to the centre of the country identified by the prefix
Try HamQTH which is free if you dont wish to pay for QRZ

Terry,
Thanks for the prompt reply!
I am a member of HamQTH and I put the required information in the EXTERNAL SERVICES tab, but it didn't cause the map to show any change when a USA callsign is entered....If I click the 'icon' on the far right of the window that does the lookup, it pulls up a new browser tab for HamQTH and shows it on the webpage correctly.......Am I doing something wrong?
I used to pay for QRZ XML a while back, but let it expire.....it was nice. Is Log4OM retrieving from HamQTH the same way?
Sincerely,
Stan WB5UDI

Re: Map only shows DX stations
Sounds like you might have a password issue
In our program config if you click the icon directly to the right of your HAMQTH password do you see a green check mark to the left? If not it's a password issue

Terry and Juergen,
THANKS! I was not going to the INFO PROVIDERS tab!!! That was my mistake. I added HAMQTH there with username and password and the map works perfectly!
Thanks again, gentlemen!

Re: Map only shows DX stations
Would be nice if you provide HamQTH to your friends and/or chapter members. HamQTH is full free
to all and provides all the information without payed subscriptions. Registration is free too but we
need more guys which registering there and fill in their data.
