Hi terry and all,
Been using V2 for quite some time and quite successfully - this is a really good program. This morning I opened L4OM up and its treating it like a new install. How do I go about resetting it back to the original config.? Was working perfectly OK the day before yesterday but from the config screen I cannot see where to go back to a previous config. Looking into the path where L4OM is everything seems as it was so the directory structure is still there and pretty sure all my back up is there as well.

Pages 200 and 201 of our user guide
Basically copy the backup config file from your backup location to C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user
Delete the existing config.json and rename the backup file to config.json - then restart Log4OM
All detailed in the user guide

Perfect - thanks Terry. All working again. Not sure how the file became corrupted or blank but it was just like starting anew.

Re: How to restore previous config
Sometimes happens because of anti virus or registry cleaner software or perhaps a bad disk sector
