Bulk change

Post by F6EXV »

Hi all
Using version 2, latest update.
I made a mistake when I set up my LoTW defaults. I had set the received to "requested", and I want to change that to "no".
I was able to do it in the settings, and now new QSOs are entered OK.
I am trying to correct all the already logged QSOs with "LoTW received" showing "Requested" to "No".
So I go to the QSL manager unit under utilities. I select search confirmation = LoTW and tick the received little box, then enter Requested in the multi-choice box.
I do a search and the the QSOs that need be changed show up (the ones confirmed already, say LoTW YES are obvioulsy no showing, which is normal).

Now is my problem.
If I click on "select required", then fill in the right part where it says Update selected QSOs confirmations, I fill in the received box with No and validate it. Then I imagine I should save by clicking on the diskette symbol. Then all QSO disapprae and nothing happens.
Maybe I forgot to click on Select required. If I do so, the left part of the box shows sent to queued (which I did not input). I do not want to change these QSO (none appears anyway).
How do I buulk change all my QSOs saying LoTW QSL reqUIred, to No ?

Use the QSL manager, enable update, do a search for "LotW send" = Requested and hit the search button.
All QSO´s with Requested will be shown. Now select all contacts, in the edit pane of the Window set
the Send and Receive status to No or Yes or whatever is possible and hit the Diskette symbol .... Done.

Working fine for me ... No idea what´s wrong at your side but try to do the steps in the row i described.

Hi Juergen
Thanbks for the reply. That worked , needless to say.
The thing I was missing was to select all the QSO in the QSO window, I thought clicking on the button "Select required" was supposed to do that. Apparently not.
Thanks again + 73

Hello Paul,

the right "Button" is "select/deselect" in the footer of that window. Select required is
only an information that you have to select something.

;) ;)
