QSL received

Post by F6EXV »

Hi all
When a card arrives, either direct or from the bureau, it would be nice that, in the Edit QSO window, there would be a function key predefined to set QSL received to YES, instead of doing
click on QSL info
select QSL
select rcvd
select yes
maybe set the date to "today"
save

Such a function key would save 6 clicks !

If you used the QSL manager which is designed to handle confirmations you would find it very easy to do

Read our user guide and watch the three YouTube tutorials about confirmations

Terry
I have watched the videos, and as I explained earlier, there are 6 or 7 steps required to change a "QSL received = NO" to "YES" when the cards arrive from the bureau.
I was asking as a possible development if a function key (one click) could do these steps (one key instead of 7 clicks)

Hi,
not answer to your question, but you will possibly half the clicks with Terry's method.

Initially set 1,2,3 [EDIT: FIRST SET "ENABLE UPDATE"]
Then enter callsign (4), if several QSO's choose correct one (5) and click save (6)

Normally you'll use two clicks then, if you are have several cards. But as you say, you will also here have 6 click to register 1 single QSL card.

Yes all detailed in user guide and videos - Ideal when you receive a batch from bureau because you dont need to repeat setting received status, date and source

Paul,

Links available at the Log4OM website. Regardless here is a link to the list of all the YouTube videos that Terry has done (so far) for Log4OM V2.

I have been using internet for many years, and I know how to search BUT there are MANY videos around, not only by you.
Thanks to KI5IO for the link, that's all I needed.
