cannot load my adi log from computer

Hello all
I just loaded log40 v2 for the first time a few days ago. I haven't run a logging program for about 10 years so no idea what i`m doing with this.

i have version 2.10.0.0 according to the help so not sure if i`m in the correct section.

I try to import my logs/file from QRZ.com (.adi) i am a paying sub from qrz. I make the file and put it on my desk top then try to load that into log40 and gives me a error msg "not connected to a valid database" I have no idea what it means by database.

i guess the 1st question is how and where do i create a database? I`m not a computer person cant stand them, lol so someone explain this in layman terms.

See page 16 of the user guide - You need to create a database otherwise you have nowhere to import your adif to
