Logging a SSB QSO, the mode is USB not SSB

Post by k4em »

I set my User Preferences to SSB. When I enter QSO info for a 17m sideband QSO the Mode shows USB not SSB. In Settings/User Preferences I only have SBB, CW, FT8, FT4 and RTTY checked.
I looked through the manual and did not find any info that pertains to this issue.

Why do you want to save as SSB which is the mode and not the correct sub-mode which is USB for that band? Perhaps you have migrated from a logging software that is no longer maintained and still used the ADIF 1 definition's?

Log4OM fully complies with the latest ADIF 3.11>>>> format why do you need to deviate from that?

See the full list of Mode enumerations here https://www.adif.org/311/ADIF_311_annot ... numeration
