Databse error after upgrade

Post by zs1we »

Hi all.

Please could you assist me.
Just upgraded my log4om to version 2.11 and after the installation i saw my hole logbook is missing.
I have done a previous upgrade before without any issues and was shocked to see 18 years worth of logging just missing as the database refuses to connect.

Please help me. I want to cry.

First don't panic you won't have lost it!

Do a windows search for *.sqlite (star dot sqlite) and you should find your database. If yo find it try opening it in log4om file/open data base

If all else fails you can create a new database and import you most recent ADIF backup

Many thanks for the reply.
I did not perform a backup before hand as my previous upgrade on log40m was the same routing just to point to the correct sql database.

I receive a error saying datasbase not valid. (sql one)

Could you point me to the adif database.

I managed to find a .adi file from a backup which is about 1 week old, I can settle with that as that week was just ft8 which I can import form wsjt.

Thank you so much for the prompt response tho.

Just wish there is a option to ask when upgrading the log4om to backup your sql and adi file, either or.
