How to Search for a Granted Callsign, ...

Post by CT1BXX »

Hi,

I think I akways have complicated questions, sorry!

2 questions:

1 - I kindly ask you to please tell me how can I search for a granted callsing ...
Explaining:
IOTA EU-120, I need to know which callsign is credited for EU-120. I have dozens of contacts on EU-120, but only one is credetid how do look for it? I tried different possibilities but I can't find any way to do it. This is very necessary in several cases, namely in case of errors, to replace one entity with another. This need does not apply only to IOTA, but to others.

2 - What field should I add in the "F7 Recent QSO" or "QSO Manager" view, to see the info, corresponding to the "SUB" in Awards tab / Add QSO?

Thank you for your attention and I hope to get some feedback from you.

I assume by CREDITED you mean accepted for CREDIT by IOTA, not confirmed by QSL/LOTW? In which case I think its easier to check on the IOTA website

This field is not available

Terry thank you very much for your comment.

The example I mentioned for the IOTA, but it is also valid for any other award ie DXCC, or ...
The question is to locate locally in the logbook, which callsign was credited (GRA)for a specific award.

Of course, I can always find out on the IOTA or, if applicable, on the LOTW website. But the situation is different.
I imagine that I have an IOTA or DXCC entity on the Website, but that doesn't match to what I have in my log, so how do I know which one I wrongly assigned as Granted?
To locate the error it will be difficult, I will have to open all qso for this entity until I find one that is credited, the process is inadequate specially if we have dozens if not more for the same entity! Don't you agree?

In my opinion it would be easier, if when we click on a cell in the awards, opening the list "Worked Awards" would appear highlighted the callsign that it was Credited / Granted (GRA) . The information already exists, now, it would only be necessary to make it visible.

I hope I managed to pass on my idea, for me it is always a little difficult to do it in English, I left the English language in the school benches, long time ago ....
