I unticked the back up file box in the Programs setting.as I manually back up all the time. This is minor, but is there a way to save the file over the existing file that I have? What I' mean is when I save a file in other programs,It updates the existing file rather than creating a seperate file.
The other thing is,I can't figure how to configure the Worked Before Tab(F10)Unless I don't understand how it works,But I thought stations I worked before shows up there.
Again many thanks for the help.I think I have the programs just about figured for my needs.
back up file and worked before tab
back up file and worked before tab
Thanks Rich

Log4OM retains the last few backups according to the user choice in the config
So if the level is set to six then when the seventh backup is saved the oldest is deleted, this way you can always revert to a good backup which might not be the last one if you have a problem. I have my backup depth set to 15 for safety.
Doing it your way it will probably not be possible for us to help you if you have an issue, but thats your choice!

Re: back up file and worked before tab
Terry,I have it set to auto backup on closure. My concern was mixing up older files with newer, and most programs don't have that feature so I was not used to having 5 files in my backup folder at one time. But I see what you mean and I rather do what is needed in case an issue you can troubleshoot more effectively. I have 2 spots now for backing up.One in the default file at 15 copies, and one in my selected folder at 5.Harder to read with a 15inch monitor but I have my folder view set to details and I can keep track of the most recent files.

Thanks Rich
