Lost configuration

Post by WA2RNA »

Hi,
Been using V2 for months without issue. Today opened Log4OM V2 and was greeted with a welcome screen and it appears to be asking for new info just like it did when I initially set it up. Recent QSO's are empty. Not sure what happened or how I should proceed...any thoughts? Bob WA2RNA

Bob,
Download the most current User Guide - 20/03/2021 8:26 AM -

Go to page 225 (almost at the end of the UG) and there are different scenarios presented with "untoward" shutdowns, etc..

One of those should get you pointed in the right directly to get that database back in the right spot. Unless you have specifically turned off backups you will be able to recover. Even if you have shut them off the data is recoverable.

Just curious did you have one or two recent Windows O/S updates? I've had about 3 in the past week. Sometimes they can cause some confusion with APPs we've installed.
