Clone/Duplicate Column Layouts

Post by 2E0GJH »

All my column layouts seem have reset to all columns switched on, maybe when I updated to 2.14.

Is there a way to "clone" a column layout from one screen to another. For example I'd like my "Recent QSO's" layout to the the same as "Worked Before" and "QSO Manager"? I could do it manually but that's a lot of work!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Graeme

Graeme,

Here is a link to an existing thread with your same question.

https://forum.log4om.com/viewtopic.php? ... mns#p35446

In that link is a post from Terry about a YouTube Video he created that steps an OM through restoring such items from saved/backup files. He added a link directly to the YouTube Video and I've added that below as well.

When there are certain substantial updates to Log4OM V2 that involve/impact the database structure all the grids will get reset back to the program's default. The recent update was a rather extensive update involving the behind the scenes data structure. Thus the reset to default views.

Perfect, thanks Nolan,

I did a brief search but couldn't find that - thanks for your time.
