Hi, Just downloaded the software but am unable to get the WCF connection to work. Running Vista, have enabled admin rights but will not connect. Settings - services has WCF services stopped, clicking green start button and nothing happens. I am ok but not the best with a pc, any advice please.
Regards
Tony

Re: WCF connection
Hi Tony, we usually ask users to register with their call, so we can provide a more precise support, if possible from the same time zone
Please check your log file, you can open the folder with files the latest of help menu.
If Log4OM has troubles connecting via wcf is usually a antivirus issue.
If your log report "actively refuse" the connection probably the point.
New release will not use wcf anymore between communicator and Log4OM, keeping wcf for external services, but a firewall will block tcp also.
Please check log and let us known

Re: WCF connection
Hi Daniele and thank you for the reply. No log shows when I go to help/show log, not sure if that is the reason it will not connect. All other features seem to work.
Would it be a good idea for me to re-register under my call sign?

Re: WCF connection
I will change your username into your call.
Version 1.16 has a known bug on the show log
You must use the show config folder function and open the log subfolder. You will find here all the logs. Thanks and welcome

Re: WCF connection
Tony,
It seems that you are not running Log4om as an administator.
Full instructions of how to do this are in the user manual
