Visualization of all bands

Why do I see the 160 80 60 4 V and U bands when in the preferences I have unchecked these bands?
there is settings to be made elsewhere ?

Another question:
Why do we always have "0 Items selected" when I have selected different bands and different Modes?

Dan , yes very interesting, I do agree that the bands shown must be only those that we use and in the preferences we check in settings.
