log4om and flex radio slices

Post by ve3wej »

is it possible to have cat control on 2 com ports via tcp, maybe so I can have my slices covered for cat logging. right now I have cat via omnirig, which is fine, but I was using radio 2 as another hf rig, and dont want to lose that. so I guess I am asking is it poossible to have 3 radios on cat ports?

I will try again, but I did not see options for 3 radio ports in hamlib, only 1

Ok, Terry, i set up as per pg 197/198 and had Hamlib working with Slicemaster

BUT

I was looking to cover 2 slices via cat, not 1. when all was closed it was working without omnirig.

I reopened log4om tonight , after starting smartsdr, and slicemaster. log4om lost the hamlib settings. I had to restart all programs to get it to setup again. it loaded as tcpip settings. it seems to not sdave settings all the time..

and of course, still no 2nd slice, and without omni rig, I lose cat to the ts590sg

did I miss something?

none are running as admin ( elevated)

update, now I see 2 slices. slicemaster listening to active tx slice, so I changed TX and log4om changed as well

I still lose 2nd radio, but we can try alternative methods

now to see if cat stays
