Question about sendng delay to QRZ

Post by ZL2UB »

Hi Team,

Just wondering if the time delay from when a record is saved in LOG40m V2 (2.19.0.0) and when it is uploaded to QRZ has been shortened???

To me this seems to be the case

There is a time delay in every upload. This is made that we have time to edit a record before it is uploaded
if we see a wrong entry ...

By the wy this is part for Log4OM V1 and not V2. The V2 is above. ;) ;)

yes I know there is a time delay, but to me it seems like it has been shortened so the delay is a lot less

Dave,

External Services upload delay is noted in the "current" User Guide on Page 108.

Below is a clip from the External Services QRZ tab. The upload delay information text box is on each of the services tabs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also wanted more time to correct invalid entries. I went to Settings / Program Configuration / Program Settings / Scheduler. I selected Upload QSO and adjusted it from 1 minute to 30 minutes. I think this affects all uploads to external services, but that works for me.

I haven't timed it to be sure, but I think this can be used to increase the upload delay.
