Creating and viewing database

Post by vk2vh »

Hi,
I am confused about the database for my contacts. I select the file, COM-SQLite appears and my computer states "ERROR" "File type not supported."
I'm not sure what to do and how can I view the contacts in the database?

Please help.

Regards
Rob

Please follow our user quick start guide or main user guide and CREATE your sqlite file

The Com.sqlite file is not what you should be trying to open

Now you need to import an ADIF file from your old logging software

Our user guide provides step by step instructions

Hi Terry,
I don't think you understand what I am asking.

I am using JTDX to make FT8 contacts, all the contacts go to Log4OM. I can see the contacts I have made on the "Recent QSO's" page.
BUT, I assume the logs are stored somewhere, but I do not know where and how to view them.

If I open the SQLITE file I get the message - "ERROR File type not supported". If I close the ERROR message there looks like some files but I cannot open them.

Regards
Rob

If you like to "read" the sqlite file you need a software that can handle it and this ist Log4OM. So in the recent QSO
tab, the QSO manager and the QSL Manager you can see all the contacts. Otherwise you can export to ADIF and read
it with a simple text reader like notepad. That´s computer knowledge an has nothing to do with Log4OM.
