How to set DXCC and Country to "None"

Post by ha5nx »

Dear All,

I am working as /MM and the issue is that there is no possibility to choose for station country "None" and for DXCC "0".
But LoTW only accepts /MM QSOs if these fields do not contain any country data but it has to be "None" and "0".
So what I am doing now is that I am exporting those QSOs to ADIF, manualy edit the file and change "My country" data and than manualy upload the editet AFID to LoTW.

Is there any less complicated solution?

Thanks and MNI 73!

Ah! thats something we forgot!

We provide a country none (zero) for calls that you enter and are looked up, try entering G4POP/MM and you will see that the country and DXCC fields are blank.

However we did not consider the MY STATION /MM situation so I will add that to our Mantis list for future attention.

Meanwhile use the QSO manager and do single field updates on the relevant QSO's by selecting MyCountry but not entering a value then click update, this will provide a blank entry

Same applies to the MyDXCC field you can edit in same way, this saves the editing in an ADIF file

Dear Terry,

One more question connected to this topic (hopefully the last one :-) ):
I have exported the QSOs to ADIF and uploaded them to LoTW manually using T-QSL (becuase it was easier to change the DXCC any MyCountry fields with "change all" in text editor than one by one in Log4OM application).

But in the Log4OM application the "LoTW sent" field reamined in "requested" status. How can I change their status to "sent"?

The same question regarding the EQSL status, because those QSO were also uploaded manually because the way eqsl.cc handles them.

Thanks and MNI 73

Thanks Terry,

Does it mean that I can do it only one by one or is there any solution to change this filed on more selected QSOs in one step?
(There are 200+ QSO where I would like to change this field)
