database modification

hey all.
im using log4OM2, Ver. 2.23.0.0
i have current call and previous call in same database in program, is there a way to separate calls in current setup? thought about doing type of adif export and then import back into another database with just current call, been reading on manual but dont fully understand how to do it, if its even possible. Thanks
