Can Log4om cluster filter / Alerts work on a band AND mode basis?

Post by vk4ma »

Hello
I am currently using another log product but I am looking for a feature that will get me to shift to new software.

In short - I enquire if the dxcluster filtering / alerting in LOG4OM can work on a band and mode basis. By this I mean - can the filtering and alerts tell me that I need VK on 17 metres on cw (cw on that band specifically - not cw on any band).
This is now the way I like to dx - ie find and work band and mode combinations that I have not yet worked. I understand there can be some limitations with mode spotting as it is based on frequency but I am cool with that. I also only require 3 modes - ssb, cw and digital - ie I am not looking to work dx on each band and every single digital mode on that band. I would be interested to know if Log4om has this feature.
Cheers and Thanks

Paul,

Check Pages 79-82 of the "current" User Guide.

Set up some of your choices there, test and see if that would work for you.

You can of course also use cluster highlights to show mode not worked

But as Nolan stated the user guide has all of the information that you require
