ADIF Incorrect QSO data (ITU Zone#)

Post by W3FA »

I am having issues uploading QSOs to LOTW in Log4OM. It created the upload ADI in temp. I then tried to upload it manually using LOTW and it gave me the error message as to some issues. Somewhere along the way I had to reinstall the L4OM, reconnect to the DB but for a time period I input the wrong ITU zone. Short of manually editing each of the 100 +/- qsos, can I edit(find/replace) the temp ADI in a text editor to correct the zone and import the corrected ADI file to have it overwrite the QSOs with the same data (call, time, date, etc) and the corrected zone or will that create more of a mess? Basically I want to change the QSOs that incorrectly have my ITU Zone 6 to the correct ITU Zone 8. I Guess the error was when the QSOs were checked against my LOTW cert during upload. eQSL and Clublog uploaded fine without error as they do not check certs, hence the uploaded data to them is also incorrect and may also need to be overwritten.

I think I got it figured out. Made log backup and went into QSO manager, unlock QSOs, highlighted all qso, then chose edit single cell tab and chose MyITUZone and set to 8 and click "Update". Going to export ADI file and check it.
