Digital QSL cards within Log4OM

Post by k4em »

I've received about 50 Digital QSL cards in PDF format in the past year. I'm not talking about eQSL cards. Are there any plans to implement some type of Digital QSL card program within Log4OM? So, we could generate and email Digital QSL cards from Log4OM.

The Digital cards I have received have been created using Ham Tools by PA4R. His link to this is no longer available. Today I received a Digital qsl card generated from this site. It accepts logs from n3fjp, HRD & Log4OM.

It's a little pricey but generates a very nice QSL card.

While I do not intend to send replies, via this mode, I would just treat it as a qsl card, and mark the contact as qsl card confirmed, and reply , if you wish. I considered created the qsl card as if I was sending via bureau, then scan and send in a reply

But the question is, if the card were needed, and wanted to be used foe an award such as WAS or DXCC, would it be recognized by the ARRL?

I printed one last year and submitted it to a card checker at a hamfest; he accepted it. I received credit from ARRL no issues.

Dave,

That must have been a 'one off' as the official rules from the ARRL about DXCC and such cards says they are not allowed to be submitted for qualification.
