Missing LotW Received/Sent Field in Database

Post by W6SDM »

I just installed an IC-7300 in the shack that's primarily an FT8/WSPR station. It has its own Windows 10 computer. I have WSJT-X, JT Alert, GridTracker, and Log4OM installed - pretty much the same configuration as my other station except for the rig. I Installed TQSL and brought over a backup of my callsign certificate.

There is no "Lotw Sent" field in the database like there is on my Flex station. QRZ.com, ClubLog, and HamQTH do show up. I looked under Confirmations in Station Configuration and LotW is there.

I must have missed something. Any idea what that is?

You write "Database" but you mean the list on the screen ? A database always have all the fields and has nothing
to do with what you see in the prgograms winsows. Read the manual please how to add/delete fields. It´s
described there.
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.

Yes, I should have said list on the screen. I have added the LotW fields.

Thanks for the quick reply.

As a coincidence, I had a visit today with Susan Degard, the daughter of Chuck Degard, K7PT (SK). She inherited her father's house and equipment and needed some advice on how to deal with the tower, which wouldn't crank down. I saw a white embroidered Log4OM ball cap sitting on a shelf in his ham shack. During the course of our discussion, I discovered that Chuck was one of the alpha testers for Log4OM version 1.

Rather than try to remove the tower and beam, which is expensive and cumbersome, Susan is going to work on getting her ham license.

I don't know if you knew him or not but I thought I would share the coincidence.

Chuck was one of the founders of Log4om along with Lele and me, he was a great guy,.

We had previously worked together as Alpha testers for Simon Brown's HRD.

Steve,

That is an excellent 'nugget of history' for sure.

Lele and Terry continue to honor Chuck by having his name/call listed as part of the Alpha Team for Log4OM.

Please give my regards to Susan if you have the opportunity. His father was a GREAT friend and a great guy. Log4OM is here also due to his dedication to the project (and his detailed advices on LoTW functions and logics :-) )

Thanks
