Logbook Print Not Working

Post by K0PIR »

I have a friend and he likes to print a paper log, so I suggested the Logbook print under Utilities. It works fine for me.

However, on his computer the .PDF generated only has a few columns and they are pressing up against the left margin. It's unusable for him.

Is there a way to manage the columns that it generates or a way to reset it to default so it prints correctly? BTW, exporting to .CSV file is unusable too. We exported it as .XLSX and edited it to make it work, but the Logbook printing under utilities is so much easier for him.

He is runnning the latest version of Log4OM and Windows 10 Home.

TIA,
Rich, K0PIR

P.S. Mine looks good. I don't have a copy of his.

I expect he is using Adobe reader or something else, advise him to try Foxit Reader that is working fine for me

It did not work. So I downloaded his log (adi) into my PC and after importing the log to a new database on my PC I have the same problem. Here is what it looks like:

I suggest that you send me a support request BY EMAIL and include the ADIF file so that I can evaluate

Thanks Terry I'll ask him what he wants to do. He was just using it for FT8 contacts.

Should not make any difference but cant understand why the call sign column is so wide, I can only guess there is some strange character in a log field that should not be present thats why I asked for the support request.

This is not a usual issue as no other user has reported this and its working for all of us testers OK
