Hello All,
I have gotten many dupes because of logging some contacts as SSB and some as USB/LSB.
To clarify, same contact, one as SSB and one as LSB.
So... What would be the best way to fix (delete the dupes), and how to keep this from happening in the future.
TIA,
Dupes because of mode

Where did the QSO's come from, what software?
Export an ADIF file
Create a new empty database
Import the ADIF file
Thyat should remove dupes

When I'm on some of the nets I log right from NetLogger and import them into Log4OM.
Is there a better way that I should be using?
Thanks,

No joy! Same as before. Dupes are:
Bob - SSB - Everything else the same.
Bob - USB - Everything else the same.
Dave - SSB - Everything else the same.
Dave - LSB - Everything else the same.
Also, using 2.29.0.0

are you sure the log entries are not already in log4om, then you import from netlogger. what mode is in each program if you try to work a ssb contact

You would be best to use the Log4OM Net control feature!
So how are the QSO's arriving in Log4OM from this other program?

ve3wej,
No I'm not. I'm a fairly new ham and still learning the ins & outs of logging, so I will be more diligent in checking.
Terry,
I didn't know about the Net control part of Log4OM (see above). What I usually uses is NetLogger.
BTW, when in NetLogger I can click <Monitor Net> and it brings up a page showing Nets in progress. Is there anything like that in Log4OM?
Thank you both.

Re: Dupes because of mode
Maybe in version 3 but not in current version because the net control is local, not web based.
Without seeing the file that you export from NetLogger I cannot help further its like driving a car blindfolded
