Before posting, I did a search in the operating manual for "QSO Count". No exact matches were found.
It is set to 9999 and I'm nearing that very quickly. I'm a bit confused as to what this number actually represent other than the number of QSO's in the log file.
What is the max it can be set to, and where is that set?
Once I exceed that number, what happens?
Will this number set the number of QSO's LOG4OM will search for previous contacts?
Many thanks for any responses
QSO Count
Re: QSO Count
Bob,
You set that value at: Settings / Configuration / Program Settings - GRID default row count.
I have mine set at 250.
It refers to how many QSOs will appear in the Grids. It is a display value of (for example) Recent QSO's (F7).
It does not impact any data searches as that search is for your entire log.
There is a defined range (noted at the Program Settings page) ... but again that only impacts what is "displayed" in the log files such as Recent QSO's, QSL Manager, QSO Manager, etc..
I keep my visible count value low at 250 as (for me with an older/slower PC) it helps keep Log4OM running a tad quicker.
